A Soft, Film-Driven Spring Wedding in Louisville, Kentucky

Sarah & Kerry’s wedding at the Peterson Dumesnil House felt like stepping into something gentle and deeply personal. Soft, emotional, and filled with intention, the entire day carried a kind of quiet sweetness that never felt overdone.

From the very beginning, their story set the tone for everything that followed.

Thoughtful Details

Sarah brought intention into every layer of the day, especially in the smaller details. Vintage pins for Kerry and the groomsmen added a subtle, personal touch that felt meaningful without needing to be loud.

The entire day leaned into restraint in the best way, letting emotion and connection lead.

A Spring Ceremony

The Speed Art Museum set the tone immediately, modern architecture, open space, and a layout that allows every part of the day to feel like its own experience.

Nothing felt static. The entire wedding moved through the space in a way that felt immersive and fluid.

The ceremony unfolded in a soft, open setting filled with natural light and the feeling of early spring. Everything about it felt gentle and unforced, with an ease that allowed the emotion of the day to take center stage.

It was simple in structure, but full in feeling.

Quiet moments between everything else

Throughout the day, the story revealed itself in small, unplanned moments. The in-between glances, soft reactions, and subtle gestures that often say the most.

Shot with a film-forward approach, everything felt slightly nostalgic, like it had already lived in memory.

A sculptural seating chart set the tone immediately, paired with florals layered throughout the space in full, intentional abundance.

Every detail felt considered, from texture to placement to flow.

A Reception Built on Design & Energy

With a guest count of 70, the energy of the day stayed close and grounded. Conversations lingered, emotions felt present, and nothing ever felt rushed.

It was a celebration that felt fully lived in, moment by moment.

An Intimate Celebration

Sarah & Kerry’s wedding was soft, intentional, and rooted in connection. A spring day that didn’t rely on excess, only feeling, light, and the kind of moments that stay with you.
